Jammu | Nov, 17 : In the wake of the recent Red Fort blast in Delhi, security has been significantly intensified at Jammu Railway Station. Jammu & Kashmir Police, along with railway security teams, have enhanced vigil across the premises to ensure public safety.
Security personnel have strengthened checking at all entry and exit points, thoroughly inspecting bags, luggage, and passenger movement. Patrol teams have been deployed across platforms, waiting halls, and surrounding areas to prevent any untoward incident.
Officials said that the heightened security is a precautionary measure following the high alert issued across major transit points. The railway authorities have appealed to passengers to cooperate with security checks and report any suspicious activity immediately.
