Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust Announces the‘Sat Paul Mittal National Awards 2025’

Srinagar: The Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust, established in 1983 by Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal, presented theSat Paul Mittal National Awards 2025 in Ludhiana. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, Government of India, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and felicitated the awardees and distributed the scholarships. Also, present wasMr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, President, Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust.

The distinguished 5 exemplarsof the Sat Paul Mittal National Awards 2025 were presented with a total cash prize of Rs. 20 lakhs along with citations under the categories – Platinum & Gold Since 1991, the trust has awarded over 28,000 scholarshipsworth over Rs. 11croreto students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, with 76% of beneficiaries being girl students. In the current year, the Trust will disburse approx. Rs. 2 Crore in scholarships to over 1,700 students.Additionally, prizes wereawarded to winners of the inter-college debate competition. This year, the Trust also launched the Satya Scholarship Program, amerit-cum-means initiative that covers 100% annual course fees to empower meritorious students, enabling them to pursue higher education and develop into future leaders.

Congratulating the awardees, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India, said,“The Sat Paul Mittal National Awards 2025 are beyond a celebration of honour, they reflect the nation’s spirit, recognising the transformative contributions of education, selfless service, and a self-reliant mindset in shaping India’s progress.”

As India continues its progressive journey towards a Viksit Bharat, the Trust remains committed to strengthening the nation’s educational and social fabric. This year, we launched our new Satya scholarship program and extended support to over 1700 students through our scholarship initiatives with a vision to empower each child to dream beyond their circumstances. These young minds, along with our award recipients, reflect the spirit of a nation that grows and leads together.I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the winner of the inter-college debate competition and my best wishes to all our scholarship recipients.
