Baramulla Witnesses Grand ‘Run for Vande Mataram’ Youth Marathon, Patriotic Rally

Baramulla : On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, a grand Youth Marathon and Patriotic Rally was held Thursday under the theme “Run for Vande Mataram”, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla, in collaboration with the District Administration Baramulla.

The event was flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Altaf Hussain Musavi,

along with DYSSO Baramulla, Zahoor Ahmad Wani, from Boys Higher Secondary School Baramulla with enthusiasm and patriotism.

Around 700 students and officials from the Youth Services and Sports Department actively participated in the marathon and rally, which commenced from BHSS Baramulla and culminated at Akbar Chowk Baramulla. The participants carried flags and raised patriotic slogans, spreading a message of unity, peace, and national pride.

In addition to the main event at the district headquarters, similar marathons and rallies were organised across all educational zones of Baramulla district by the Youth Services and Sports Department, witnessing massive participation of thousands of students and YSS employees.

The initiative aimed to promote fitness, discipline, and a sense of patriotism among youth, reflecting the true spirit of “Vande Mataram.”
