New Delhi| Nov,12 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited LNJP Hospital to meet the victims of the recent blast in Delhi, expressing his prayers for their swift recovery and assuring that those responsible for the attack will be brought to justice. This visit followed his return from a two-day trip to Bhutan, where he had already expressed his sorrow over the incident, which claimed at least eight lives near the Red Fort Metro Station.
In a post on ” X” formerly called “twitter” PM Modi said that during his hospital visit he interacted with the injured and received updates from medical staff regarding their conditions. Initial post-mortem examinations revealed severe injuries among the victims, including broken bones and head trauma, with causes of death attributed to deep wounds and excessive bleeding. Notably, no splinter traces were found on the victims, and forensic analysis is underway to determine the type of explosive used.
In response to the attack, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formed a dedicated investigation team to delve into the incident, which is linked to a Jaish-e-Mohammad module identified by Indian authorities. PM Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to uncovering the conspiracy and ensuring that all those involved face justice, reinforcing the nation’s solidarity with the affected families.
