Bandipora : As part of the ongoing “Vande Mataram” campaign commemorating 150 years of the National Song, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Bandipora, in collaboration with the Health Department, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), and the District Sheep Husbandry Office (DSHO), Monday organized a series of special morning assemblies and patriotic programmes across various institutions and departments in Bandipora district.

The initiative aimed to foster a spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride among students, staff, and citizens, while encouraging active public participation in the district-wide celebrations.

At District Hospital Bandipora, doctors, paramedical staff, and citizens participated enthusiastically in the collective singing of “Vande Mataram,” creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic fervour.

Similarly, at the Sheep Husbandry Department, the District Sheep Husbandry Officer along with departmental staff joined the rendition of the National Song, reaffirming their commitment to national service and unity.

A special morning assembly was also held at the Anganwadi Centre Nussoo, where District Programme Officer, Yaar Ali Khan participated in person and interacted with the students and staff. Students, Anganwadi workers, and local citizens waved the National Flag and sang “Vande Mataram” with great enthusiasm, symbolizing their collective devotion to the motherland.

Similar programmes were conducted in schools, colleges, and Anganwadi centres across the district, where students and staff took part in essay writing, debates, quizzes, painting, and slogan-writing competitions based on the themes of patriotism and national unity.

The DIPR Bandipora played a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating the smooth execution of the events in collaboration with the concerned departments. The joint efforts ensured wide participation and effective dissemination of the campaign’s message, amplifying the patriotic spirit across all corners of the district.

The participants appreciated the district administration for organizing such inspiring events that not only celebrated the National Song but also rekindled patriotic spirit and cultural pride among all sections of society.

The “Vande Mataram” celebrations continues to witness active participation across Bandipora, with a series of programmes planned throughout the week to celebrate the ideals of unity, harmony, and devotion to the nation.
