Ramban: The District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Alyas Khan, organized a series of patriotic and cultural programs across all tehsils of the district on the second day of the weeklong celebration of 150 glorious years of India’s National Song “Vande Mataram,”

Public functions were held at tehsil level across the district, where local artists, school students, and community members enthusiastically participated in singing, quiz, painting and essay writing competitions on the theme “Vande Mataram – The National Pride of India,” dedicated to the spirit of the National Song.

A special commemorative event was organized at Government High School Ramsoo by the Sub-Divisional Administration in collaboration with all departments. The program aimed to honor the patriotic essence of Vande Mataram and foster a deep sense of national unity and pride among students. Participants from different institutions showcased their talents through art, literature and oratory, beautifully expressing their devotion to the motherland.

Officials present on the occasion appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity of the students and other participants, commending their efforts in making the event a grand success.

Similar programs were organized at Government Higher Secondary School Khari, where essay and seminar competitions were held; at GHSS Gool, painting and singing events celebrated the patriotic theme and at GHSS Gandhri, the Revenue Department led the celebrations with community participation. Enthusiastic programs were also held at Rajgarh, Batote, Ukhral and Banihal, reflecting the people’s collective spirit of nationalism and cultural unity.

The day concluded with a message of harmony, patriotism and collective pride in celebrating 150 years of the timeless National Song — Vande Mataram.
