Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal inaugurates New Court Complex in Bandipora

B’pora: In a significant development, the newly constructed Court Complex at Bandipora was inaugurated on Saturday by Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and Administrative Judge for District Bandipora, Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal.

The inauguration of the new Court Complex in Bandipora was directed by Chief Justice Arun Palli of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, aimed at providing immediate public access to the facility. Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal officiated the ceremony, commending the Chief Justice’s leadership and the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including judicial officers, district administration, and the Bar Association. The event was marked by a guard of honor for Justice Nargal and included an inspection of the complex’s facilities, such as courtrooms and an e-Court Room. Justice Nargal emphasized the importance of maintaining the infrastructure and addressing staff concerns to ensure optimal functionality. He highlighted the judiciary’s critical role in the region, underscoring that judicial infrastructure is a constitutional obligation and a symbol of hope for the community. In his address, Justice Nargal acknowledged the challenges faced by judicial officers and staff while stressing the need for modern judicial reforms and the integration of technology to enhance justice delivery. He encouraged young lawyers to prioritize preparation and integrity, reminding them of their role as guardians of justice. The Principal District and Sessions Judge, along with the Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, expressed gratitude for the project’s completion and emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to strengthen the justice system. Justice Nargal later held meetings to discuss operational needs for the new complex, addressing demands for improved communication, maintenance, security, and the prioritization of case disposal to ensure a conducive environment for justice.
