Ludhiana:University of Jammu team registered a resounding 115-run victory over GADVASU, Ludhiana in the All India Vice-Chancellor’s T-20 Tournament.
Batting first, the University of Jammu posted an impressive total of 177 runs in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Vishal top-scored with a well-made 50 runs, while Shami added 30, Balwant Slathia 20, Raj Kumar Bakshi 17, Niranjan 16, and Shantul 15. For GADVASU, Ram Passi and Balaji took two wickets each, and Gurpreet claimed one.
In reply, GADVASU Ludhiana was bowled out for 62 runs in 12.5 overs. Balaji was the top scorer with 22 runs. The University of Jammu bowlers dominated the innings, with Raj Kumar Bakshi taking four wickets for 13 runs in 3.2 overs, while Karan, Shantul, and Balwant picked up two wickets each.
For his exceptional performance with both bat and ball, Raj Kumar Bakshi was declared Man of the Match.
