Baramulla :  The ongoing Inter-District Provincial Level (IDPL) UT Level Yoga Competition has now reached its Under-14 category events at the Indoor Stadium Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla.

The prestigious event is being organised and hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Baramulla under the overall supervision of  District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Baramulla.

In Friday’s session, the Under-14 Boys competition witnessed energetic participation from 16 districts across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, with 91 young yoga athletes showcasing their flexibility, balance, and discipline in a highly spirited environment.

The event aims to promote holistic development, physical fitness, and mental well-being among the young athletes through the ancient art of yoga. The participants demonstrated remarkable skill and composure, reflecting the growing popularity of yoga as a key component of school-level sports activities.

The event continues to serve as a platform for identifying promising talent that will represent Jammu & Kashmir at higher levels of competition.
