Ganderbal : The two-week Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Academic and Research Excellence in Higher Education,” organized by the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) and sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR concluded on Friday at the Tulmulla Campus.
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Sandhya Tiwari, the Course Director, highlighted the programme’s focus on quality in teaching and collaboration, covering essential topics such as curriculum design, research methodology, ICT integration, and academic administration. She expressed satisfaction with the programme’s outcomes, which fostered a spirit of excellence among participants. Dr. Minu Mahajan, the Chief Guest and Chairperson of the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE), emphasized the importance of faculty development in building a robust education system. She urged educators to embrace innovation and student-centric methodologies to align with India’s vision for a developed nation by 2047. Dr. Mahajan praised the efforts of CUKashmir’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, in enhancing academic and infrastructure standards. In his Presidential Address, Prof. Nath commended the organizing committee and encouraged participants to apply their learnings towards institutional reform
