Srinagar : Police on Thursday asked people to help it identify a body recovered by it int Soiteng Nowgam areas of Srinagar city.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that it received credible information about the body and dispatched a team to the location, where the body was subsequently recovered, adding therein that inquest proceedings have been initiated, and an investigation is underway. Stating that medico-legal formalities have been completed, and the body is currently stored in the mortuary of GMC Srinagar for identification Police in its statement asked people to come up with information regarding the identity of the deceased , adding therein that Individuals can contact Police Station Nowgam at 9596770882, or reach out to the PCR Srinagar at 9596222550 or 9596222551, or call the Police Control Room Kashmir by dialing 112.
