Srinagar : A seven old girl died after being hit by a motorcycle in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday, officials said.
An official said that the girl was hit by the motorcycle while crossing the road outside her home in Pahoo locality of Kakapora.
He said that girl, identified as Areeba daughter of Nazir Ahmad Bhat was taken to PHC Kakapora in critical condition, where from she was referred to SMHS Srinagar.
“She was declared dead on arrival at SMHS. Police have taken cognisance and a probe had been launched in this regard,” he said.
