DC Rajouri reviews preparations for commemoration of 150 Years of National Pride — Vande Mataram

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma Monday chaired a meeting of district officers in the Video Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to review the preparations for the grand commemoration of 150 years of the National Song – Vande Mataram.

The meeting discussed the activities planned to be organized across the district to mark this historic occasion and rekindle the spirit of patriotism and national pride among citizens.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the line departments and educational institutions to actively participate in the celebrations. He stressed that the commemoration should be observed in a befitting manner with wide public participation, so that the message of unity and devotion to the nation reaches every household.

As part of the celebration plan, special assemblies will be held daily in schools, featuring the singing of Vande Mataram and discussions on its historical significance. In addition, mass singing events will be organized in schools and public places across the district.

A range of literary and cultural activities such as essay writing, debate and quiz competitions will be conducted to engage students and youth in exploring the patriotic essence of Vande Mataram. Exhibitions and craft sessions will also be organized in Anganwadi centres, highlighting the creative expression of children.

The DC said that all public offices including Tehsil Offices, BDO Offices, Police Stations, PHCs and CHCs would participate by organizing thematic events and displaying messages of national pride to mark the 150-year milestone.

The Deputy Commissioner urged all officers to moblize enthusiastic participation from every section of society so that the commemoration of Vande Mataram becomes a true celebration of India’s unity, diversity and enduring national spirit.

The meeting was attended by SSP Gaurav Sikarwar; ADC Kalakote Tanvir Ahmed; ADC Kotranka Dil Mir; ADC Rajouri Chander Parkash; ADC SunderbaniRamkesh Sharma; ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa; ACR Rajouri Mohd Jahangir Khan; SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain and other district and sectoral officers.
