Says “Art 370, 35-A will never return, Corruption allowed by elected UT Govt halts good governance”

Srinagar : Sunil harma, the Leader of the Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and a senior BJP leader here on Friday said that the restoration of Article 370 and 35-A is unrealistic for those advocating for it.
Talking to reporters here Sharma urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to concentrate on the demand for statehood, which the BJP supports. Sharma criticized Abdullah for using statehood as a cover while failing to address governance issues, particularly in light of recent corruption scandals. Sharma challenged Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary’s claims regarding a significant corruption scandal, questioning the lack of action from the government. He urged Choudhary to provide evidence and facilitate investigations within his department. Furthermore, Sharma pointed out that Abdullah’s role extends beyond advocating for statehood; it includes the responsibility of ensuring effective governance, which he believes is currently lacking.
