Sikh delegation led by Prez Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee calls on LG

Srinagar: Sikh delegation, led by S. Harjinder Singh Dhami, President, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sri Amritsar Sahib and man Mahant Manjeet Singh, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Wednesday.
The delegation comprising S. Ajit Singh, Chairman, All J&K Sikh Coordination Committee; Bhai Harbhinder Singh, Incharge, SGPC Sikh Mission J&K; Bhai Jagtar Singh, Coordinator/Advisor, SGPC Dharam Parchar Committee; SGPC Executive members, office bearers and members of Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committees discussed with the Lieutenant Governor the preparations for the Nagar Kirtan scheduled to commence from Gurdwara Mattan Sahib on November 15, 2025, as a part of the observance of 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
They also discussed the promotion of Punjabi language in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
