The programme witnessed overwhelming participation from locals of Nowbugh (Kund), Waltengo, Pachgam, Kraloo, Hukradan, Razloo, Chitirgam, Waripora Kund, Cheki Wazoo, Nigeen Pora, Oriel, Batengo, Thathoo, and Kanchloo, who apprised the DC of their concerns and projected various developmental requirements.

During the camp, several public delegations and individuals raised demands including augmentation of staff at the local health centre, macadamization of link roads, smooth power supply during winters, and other development-related issues.

The DC patiently heard all grievances and assured prompt action. He also informed the public about various approved projects that will be taken up shortly in the area.

A number of grievances were resolved on-the-spot by the Deputy Commissioner during the camp.

Officers from different departments were also present and responded to sector-specific issues, providing necessary clarifications to the public.

Earlier, the BDO briefed the DC about the progress of developmental works underway in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the administration is focused on ensuring efficient public service delivery and addressing the concerns of citizens on priority.

He emphasized that such outreach programmes play a vital role in strengthening the connect between the administration and the public.

He assured that all genuine demands raised will be taken up with the concerned departments for their timely redressal.

Among others, the camp was attended by ADDC, ADC, ACR, besides district and sectoral officers from various departments.
