Srinagar : Police on Saturday organized a series of programmes across the district.
Reports said that police officers visited the villages and towns of martyred police personnel in Sub-Division Pampore to express solidarity with their families and to pay homage to their supreme sacrifice.
During these visits, the officers interacted with the families of martyrs, listened to their concerns patiently, and assured them that their genuine grievances would be addressed on priority. As a mark of respect and remembrance portraits of martyrs from Sub-Division Pampore were displayed in their respective primary schools (where they were educated) as a mark of respect and remembrance. Their bravery and sacrifices were also highlighted in the schools and local community gatherings to inspire students and residents.
