Dr. Farooq felicitates NC’s newly elected RS Members, Asks them to Champion J&K’s interests

Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Saturday felicitated the party’s successful Rajya Sabha candidates Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo and Shammi Oberoi at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

According to a statement issued from party headquarters Srinagar among those present on the occasion were senior party leaders, including Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo, Advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Women’s Wing State President Shameema Firdous, Hon’ble MLA’s Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi, Mushtaq Guroo, Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Ahmad Mir and several senior party functionaries.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Farooq Abdullah called upon the newly elected members to work diligently to address the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the importance of reinforcing the party’s efforts to restore the rights of the region’s residents and to protect their political, economic, and constitutional interests. He emphasized that representatives in the Rajya Sabha should act as advocates for the aspirations and issues of the Jammu and Kashmir populace at the national level. The newly elected members, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, and Shammi Oberoi, expressed their gratitude to the party leadership for their trust and committed to representing the people’s aspirations while advancing the party’s goals of justice, development, and dignity.
