Srinagar : Police on Saturday said that it has seized two Vehicles (tipper and dumper) for involvement in illegal transportation of minerals.
According to a statement issued here on Saturday Newa Police Post in Hawal has successfully seized two vehicles, a tipper and a dumper, with registration numbers JK04/5947 and JK13G/9749, which were involved in the illegal transportation of minerals. In response to this incident, two cases have been registered: FIR No. 250/2025 at the Police Station Pulwama and FIR No. 109/2025 at the Police Station Rajpora, under the relevant legal provisions. Investigations into the matter are currently going on . In its statement police also reiterated its commitment to protect district’s natural resources as part of its zero-tolerance policy towards illegal mining.
