Dr Tasaduk joins Int’l Diabetes Federation Global Expert Network

Srinagar: Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo a prominent Kashmiri doctor, a health columnist of some local newspaper, an educator, and public health expert has been nominated for the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Global Expert Network. Dr. Itoo, a distinguished IDF Fellow, joins this exclusive initiative under the IDF School of Diabetes Global Experts. The IDF Global Expert Network brings together leading professionals from around the world to collaborate on advancing diabetes knowledge, education, research, and
policy. By joining this distinguished group, Dr. Itoo will play a key role in guiding the work of the leading IDF School of Diabetes and furthering the IDF’s vital global mission. Dr. Itoo’s expertise is widely recognized; he is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH, UK) and holds memberships in several prominent international medical organizations, including the American College of Physicians (USA), the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), and the Endocrine Society
(USA). Pertinently, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) headquartered in Brussels, Belgium — is a global alliance of over 250 national diabetes associations from more than 160 countries and territories. Established in 1950, the IDF is dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes and those at risk, and to promoting diabetes care, prevention, and a cure worldwide.
