Budgam : BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh Tarun Chugh on Thursday slammed Omar Abdullah-led Government for failing to fulfill its promises and betraying the trust of the people.
Addressing an election rally at Alamdaar Colony, Mirgund, District in Budgam assembly constituency Chug highlighted Abdullah’s abandonment of the Budgam constituency after his election, accusing him of arrogance and detachment from the electorate. Chugh condemned the National Conference’s legacy of dynasty politics, asserting that the party has historically neglected key sectors such as tourism, employment, and infrastructure. Chugh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming governance in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that benefits are now reaching every village and youth. He urged voters to support BJP candidate Aga Syed Mohsin, framing the election as a chance to end dynastic rule and promote transparent governance and development.J&K BJP President Sat Sharma emphasized the BJP’s growing acceptance in Jammu and Kashmir, attributing it to the party’s commitment to inclusivity and development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He criticized the Congress party for past corruption and asserted that the BJP aims to replicate its success in Budgam. Another J&K BJP leader Ashok Koul noted the enthusiasm among party workers and the public, indicating a readiness for change in the region.
