Budgam, Oct 20, : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Budgam Assembly constituency, Aga Muntazir, on Monday formally filed his nomination papers at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam, marking the beginning of his campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Aga Muntazir was accompanied by senior PDP leader and former minister Ghulam Nabi Hanjura, party leader Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, and PDP District President Yaseen Bhat. The leaders were greeted by several party workers and supporters outside the DC office, who raised slogans in support of the party and its candidate.

Aga Muntazir’s candidature reflects PDP’s renewed focus on central Kashmir, where the party aims to regain its traditional stronghold by highlighting issues of governance, development, and youth empowerment.
