Jammu Tawi Golf Course hosts Monsoon Tee Off Diwali Cup 2025 – celebrating sport, spirit , festivity

Jammu: The lush greens of Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC) are set to come alive with festive fervor as the much-awaited Monsoon Tee Off Diwali Cup 2025 tees off on October 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Organized under the aegis of C.P Verma, Secretary Tourism Department, in association with the Directorate of Tourism, Jammu, the event promises to be a vibrant blend of sport, celebration and community spirit.

Bringing together nearly 90–100 passionate golfers from across the region and beyond, this year’s Diwali Cup will serve as a testament to the growing golfing culture in Jammu & Kashmir, symbolizing how the sport continues to unite people and foster camaraderie across all walks of life.

Following an exciting day of competition, the evening would culminate in a grand prize distribution ceremony, a sumptuous dinner, and a gala night featuring a renowned qawwali group, adding a soulful and festive touch to the celebration.

Speaking about the event Secretary Jammu TAWI Golf Course, Manav Gupta remarked, “The Monsoon Tee Off Diwali Cup is more than just a sporting event — it’s a celebration of unity, enthusiasm, and the spirit of Jammu. Golf is fast becoming a bridge that connects communities, and JTGC is proud to be at the heart of this cultural and sporting evolution in J&K.”

The Monsoon Tee Off Diwali Cup 2025 stands as a shining example of how Jammu is emerging as a premier golfing destination in North India, nurturing both seasoned players and budding enthusiasts alike. The tournament aims not only to celebrate Diwali in style but also to promote sports tourism and strengthen social bonds through the shared love of the game.

With its perfect blend of sport, culture and festivity, the Diwali Cup at JTGC promises an unforgettable experience — where every swing and every note will resonate with the joy and togetherness of the season.
