Srinagar | Oct, 17: Every year, on October 21 the nation observes Police Commemoration Day, a solemn occasion dedicated to paying tribute to the sacrifices made by police personnel in the line of duty.
Anational level, the Police Commemoration Day event is held at the National Police Memorial (NPM) in New Delhi.
During this event, the names of police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty during the last one year are solemnly read aloud. The occasion also witnesses a joint parade involving Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Delhi Police.
