Jammu | Oct, 17: First Randomization of FLC passed EVMs and VVPATs was conducted by the District Election Officer Jammu to allocate EVMs and VVPATs for the bye election to 77- Nagrota Assembly Constituency.
The Randomization of EVMs and VVPATS was done through the EVM Management System, developed by Election Commission of India, in the presence of the representatives of National and State Recognized Political Parties.
After completion of the First Randomization, the lists of EVMs and VVPATs were shared with all the National and State Recognised Political Parties at district headquarters.
The EVMs and VVPATs will be provided to the Returning Officer 77- Nagrota for use in bye-election 2025.These EVMs and VVPATs will be stored in strong room of 77- Nagrota Assembly Constituency in the presence of the representatives of the National and State Recognised Political Parties.
After finalization of the list of contesting candidates, the list of first randomized EVMs and VVPATS will be shared with all the contesting candidates, as well.
