Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday said the provincial holiday on account of ‘Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib’ in Kashmir Province shall now be observed on October 20 (Monday) instead of October 18 (Saturday).
An order issued from the General Administration Department reads “In partial modification of Government Order No. 2193-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated: 29.12.2024, it is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday (Kashmir Province only) on account of “Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib” shall now be observed on 20.10.2025 (Monday) instead of 18.10.2025 (Saturday).”
