Srinagar | : A Sub-Divisional Crime Review Meeting was on Wednesday held at Police Station Kunzer, chaired by SDPO Tangmarg, to enhance grassroots policing and reinforce the rule of law.
The meeting was attended by Station House Officers and in-charges from various police establishments within the Sub-Division, focusing on assessing the current crime landscape, operational challenges, and strategic planning for the upcoming weeks. Addressing the session, SDPO Tangmarg emphasized a zero-tolerance approach towards drug abuse and criminal activities while advocating for a people-centric policing model. He highlighted the necessity of visibility, approachability, and ethical conduct in policing practices. Officers on this occasion were asked to collaborate with civil society, implement quick response mechanisms, and foster a crime-free environment through increased vigilance and proactive outreach.
