Attestation cum passing out parade of 621 recruit constables held at STC BSF Udhampur

Udhampur | :  The Border Security Force, upholding its proud tradition Saturday successfully conducted an attestation-cum-passing out parade of 621 recruit constable (GD) at the parade ground of the Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF Udhampur.

The parade ground marked the culmination of 44 weeks of rigorous basic training of 621 Recruit Constable hailing from various states across India. The recruits solemnly took the oath to serve the Nation with commitment and honor and subsequently departed for their respective duty postings.

While speaking on the occasion, Satish S. Khandare, Additional Director General (Western Command), BSF Chandigarh presided over the parade as the Chief Guest and took the salute. He lauded the exceptional standards of training provided to the recruits and extended his commendations to the Officers and the dedicated team of instructors at STC BSF, Udhampur for their unwavering commitment to excellence in training. Recruit Constable Pankaj Kumar commanded the parade as Parade Commander and Recruit Constable Parul Kharole secured the overall first position. The chief guest conveyed his best wishes for their future careers and expressed his confident belief that these young soldiers would uphold the highest standards of integrity, dedication and efficiency in their duties. He emphasized that their steadfast service would bring honor to the Border Security Force and their families.

At the onset, Sandeep Channan, Inspector General, STC BSF Udhampur, welcomed the chief guest and dignitaries present on the occasion.

The event was graced by senior officials from the Army, Civil Administration & Police officials of Udhampur District, officers of various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), school Teacher, distinguished local citizens, family members of recruits & Jawans and their families of the STC campus. They witnessed the parade with enthusiasm and applauded the disciplined performance of the recruit constable.

The passing out ceremony was enlivened by cultural presentations including: Bihu Dance showcasing the vibrant folk culture of Assam, Lezim Dance representing the spirited traditions of Maharashtra, a colorful cultural programme delivered by the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Udhampur.

The performance received widespread appreciation and thunderous applause from the audience. The melodious tunes of the BSF Band added a grand and solemn ambiance to the ceremony. This event stands as a testament to the commitment of the Border Security Force to train and prepare young recruits to serve the nation with valor and dedication.
