Mission YUVA: DC Udhampur approves 202 loan assistance cases at DLIC meeting

Udhampur | :  Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai Wednesday chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under the mission YUVA scheme.

The meeting was convened to evaluate, screen and approve applications under various categories, including the Nano and MSME sectors and to review the overall progress of the scheme’s implementation in the district. The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh; GM DIC Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan; Deputy Director Employment Mohinder Sharma, representatives from the banking sector and other concerned officers.

After detailed scrutiny and discussion, the Committee approved 202 cases for financial assistance under Mission YUVA.

While reviewing the implementation progress, the DC emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of implementation through coordinated efforts among all line departments. She directed the concerned officers to expedite the processes of approval, sanctioning and disbursement of loan cases.

The DC further instructed officers to speed up the preparation of DPRs, clear all pending cases and organize special camps for on-spot sanctioning and disbursement of loans.

LDM was directed to ensure prompt processing and timely disbursement of sanctioned loan cases.

DC stressed the importance of continuous monitoring of YUVA Doots and directed that regular awareness camps be organized across the district to maximize outreach and participation.
