Srinagar | : Police on Wednesday said that it has arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar a police Party of Police Station Pattan at a police checkpoint at Hanjiwera Bridge, established by the Police Station Pattan, successfully intercepted a suspect attempting to flee. The suspect identified as Momin Ahmad Dar, son of Shahmeem Ahmad Dar from Rambail Gad, Shaltang, Srinagar, was apprehended during a personal search. Authorities recovered approximately 40 grams of a charas-like substance, concealed in a yellow polythene bag. Following the incident, a case was registered under FIR No. 205/2025, and further investigations have been initiated to address the matter..
