Awantipora | : The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) recently on Tuesday conducted an Induction Program for newly admitted students in its Nursing Colleges and the Centre for Vocational Studies, part of the School of Health Sciences.
The program, overseen by the Dean of Academic Affairs and organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, aimed to familiarize students with the university’s academic framework, policies, and available support systems. Key university officials, including Prof. A. H. Moon, Dr. Mir Hashim Rasool, and the Principals of the Nursing Colleges, engaged with students to discuss essential topics such as the academic structure, code of conduct, examination processes, and student support facilities. The Deans highlighted the importance of academic integrity and reaffirmed IUST’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and student-centered campus environment. The event concluded with an interactive session, providing students the opportunity to ask questions and gain further insights into campus life and services.
