Srinagar | Oct, 6: Police in Pulwama on Monday organized awareness programs on the New Criminal Laws to educate citizens about recent legal reforms.

The first session took place at Kids Kingdom Public School, where the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) briefed students and faculty on significant changes in the criminal justice framework, emphasizing the importance of understanding legal rights and responsibilities. The second program was held at Litter Panchayat Ghar, led by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Litter. This session engaged local residents, youth, and community leaders in an interactive discussion about the practical implementation of the new laws and the role of citizens in upholding law and order. Police on this occasion  highlighted that these initiatives are part of a broader district-wide awareness campaign aimed at strengthening police-community relations, enhancing public trust, and keeping citizens informed about the evolving legal landscape.
