Doda | :  The much-awaited Inter-District Divisional Level Kho-Kho Tournament for Boys (All Age Groups) began Saturday with zeal and sporting spirit at the Indoor Sports Stadium Doda. The event is being organized as per the approved annual sports calendar under the banner of the Department of Youth Services and Sports, J&K.

As many as 150 budding players from across Jammu Division districts have assembled to showcase their discipline, agility and competitive spirit.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Subedar Major Chain Singh, (International Shooter) who inspired the athletes with the mantra “Jeetega aur Seekhega” (One will win, the other will learn).

Sharing his journey from a humble village background to representing India at the Olympics, he urged players to stay dedicated and focused.

Addressing the gathering, Special Guest Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh appreciated the arrangements made for the event and encouraged the players to compete in true sportsmanship. He also commended the DYSSO Doda for excellent organization and hospitality for participants.
