Srinagar | :Police in Awantipora on Friday solved a theft case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime.
In a statement issued here on Friday that On October 2 one Bilal Ahmad Dar reported a theft of gold ornaments and cash from his home in Wadpora Dogripora. Stating that following the complaint a case under FIR No. 200/2025 was registered at the Awantipora police station besides initiating further investigation Police in its statement further said that while utilizing modern investigative techniques, including the analysis of CCTV footage one Bashir Ahmad Sheikh was identified as a suspect and subsequently arrested besides which the stolen items, valued at Rs 1,30,000, were recovered from him, Stating there in further that the investigation into the case is going on.
