Srinagar | : Police on Tuesday said that it has solved a theft case reported at Police Post Bus Stand yesterday in Sopore and recovered stolen handset an cash.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that a case under FIR No. 204/2025 was registered at Police Station Sopore after receiving a complaint about theft of a mobile handset and some cash . Stating that during investigation, one Firdous Mohiudin Shah S/o Ghulam Mohiudin Shah R/o Sidique Colony Sopore was apprehended and later on questioning, he confessed to the crime Police in its statement further said that on the disclosure of the said the stolen property was recovered .
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police said that this was the second theft recovery within 24 hours by Police in Sopore, reiterating therein its commitment to swift investigation, protection of public property, and bringing offenders to justice.
