Srinagar | : A special cleanliness drive was on Tuesday organized at the Security Headquarters in Srinagar as part of the ongoing “Sewa Parv” initiative by PHQ J&K, under the guidance of IGP Security J&K, Sujit Kumar.
The event aimed to foster cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental awareness among staff and officers. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from the Security Headquarters team, including notable officers such as Sh. Rakesh Kumar and Sh. Musadiq Majid Basu. Participants engaged in cleaning various areas, including office premises, corridors, and lawns, exemplifying teamwork and commitment to the national vision of “Clean India – Green India.” Emphasizing that cleanliness is a collective responsibility, the officers highlighted its importance for health, efficiency, and a positive work culture. They encouraged staff to adopt cleanliness as a sustained practice rather than a one-time event. The initiative showcased the dedication of the Security Headquarters to the national “Swachhta Mission” and inspired all ranks to contribute meaningfully. The program concluded with a commitment to continue cleanliness campaigns, ensuring that the Security Headquarters remains a model of hygiene and environmental responsibility.
