Jammu | : The newly Upgraded Agronomist Vegetable Improvement Scheme Office Building, funded under CAPEX, was inaugurated Tuesday by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu West Arvind Gupta in the presence of Director Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare Jammu Anil Gupta and other senior functionaries of the Agriculture Department.
The upgraded office building is designed to provide modern working environment with improved infrastructure, better space utilization and upgraded facilities to support smooth functioning of the departmental activities and effective implementation of agricultural schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta underlined the importance of creating state-of-the-art office spaces, noting that modern infrastructure enhances efficiency, promotes transparency and provides employees with a more conducive and professional atmosphere to deliver their best.
The Director Agriculture said that the upgraded building, equipped with improved amenities and work-friendly facilities, will not only streamline office operations but also strengthen coordination among staff, ultimately ensuring timely and effective delivery of departmental services.
Agronomist (VIS) Jammu Vikas Padha stated that the upgraded facilities will significantly improve the working environment for staff, encourage better coordination across sections and provide a professional space where employees can work more productively and efficiently.
The inaugural function was attended by Joint Director (Inputs) Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Deputy Director (Central) Sanjeev Rai Gupta, Agriculture Chemist Vinod Kumar Sharma, Agriculture Economist Tilak Raj Sharma, Plant Protection Officer Raju Mahajan, DSSO. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Seed Analyst Gopal Krishan, Deputy Director (Trainings) Karuna Nidhi, SDAO Marh Khalid Hassan Tantri, besides other senior officers and staff of the department.
