Bandipora | : District Child Protection Unit Mission Vatsalya, Bandipora on Tuesday organized Health and Nutrition Camps along with the distribution of kits among the children of Child Care Institutions (CCIs). The initiative was conducted as part of the SEWA PARV campaign aimed at promoting health awareness and well-being among children.
On the occasion, children from both institutions received the kits and presented them in an innovative way and elaborated on the health benefits of various food items, showcasing their learning and understanding of nutrition highlighting the importance of adopting healthy food habits for overall growth and development.
The programme witnessed the presence of the District Child Protection Officer Bandipora, Officials from DCPU, Child Welfare Committee , Juvenile Justice Board ,CHL,CHD and officials from both the institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, the DCPO appreciated the children and staff members of both the institutions for conducting such meaningful activities that provide children with practical exposure and learning opportunities beyond textbooks. He emphasized that such initiatives not only spread awareness but also help children develop confidence and life skills.
The DCPO, along with other officials, interacted with the children appreciating their presentations and motivating them to continue adopting healthy practices in their daily lives.
The event concluded with a message of promoting health, nutrition, and child-friendly practices, reinforcing the commitment of DCPU Mission Vatsalya towards the holistic development of children in the district.
