Reasi| :  Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik Tuesday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress under the District Capex 2025 plan. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), all Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Executive Engineers (XENs).

The review focused on the status of tendering, allotment, and retendering of projects under the current financial year. It was informed that 91% of tendering has been completed, while 28% of works have been allotted so far.

The DC directed the officers to expedite retendering in cases where low bidding occurred due to limited competition and to ensure 100% completion of the tendering process at the earliest. She emphasized that timely tendering will pave the way for faster allotment and the early execution of works, enabling the district to achieve its developmental targets within the stipulated timeline.

DC Nidhi Malik further instructed the BDOs to maintain regular engagement with execution agencies immediately after the issuance of Letters of Intent. She said this proactive approach would help in the proper preparation of documents and facilitate fast-tracking of project execution.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated her commitment to efficient implementation of the District Capex plan and urged all departments to work in close coordination to deliver quality development works for the benefit of the people of Reasi.

CPO Narinder Kumar, ACD Vijay Kumar, XENs, BDOs joined the meeting.
