Jammu | : The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, commenced the Inter-Collegiate Yoga (Men) Championship 2025–26 at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu.
The competition was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Mandeep Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, VikasKarlopia, Jai Bharat, Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Dr. Mahak, and various officials and participants from the University’s affiliated colleges.
The event witnessed intense competition and outstanding performances, reflecting the growing interest in yoga and physical wellness among students. The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, officials, and spectators whose support and enthusiasm contributed to the smooth execution and success of the championship.
Yoga Team (M) Results:
- 1st Position: PG Department, University of Jammu
- 2nd Position: Government Degree College (GDC), Paloura
- 3rd Position: Govt. Degree Colleg, Doda
Yoga Individual (M) Results:
- 1st Position: Sahil Singh, GDC, Paloura
- 2nd Position: Ajay Kumar GDC Ramnagar
- 3rd Position: Prince Shivam Sharma, PG Department, University of Jammu and Manjeet Singh GDC Paloura respectively.
The matches were officiated by a technical panel of experts including Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Pandey, Sh. Devesh Kumar, Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Sh. Ankit Bali, Gorav Raina, and Ms. Zoha Barkat.
