Rally against drug abuse organised in Awantipora
Srinagar | : Police on Saturday organized an awareness-cum-counseling seminar in Ganderbal and a rally against drug abuse in Awantipora.
The seminar took place at Hydriya Model High School, Tulmulla, and was chaired by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal. During the event, SSP Poswal emphasized the crucial role of religious scholars, teachers, and guardians in guiding youth, urging students to focus on their academic and moral development. Senior police officers and local elders also attended the seminar, where participants received appreciation certificates for their engagement. In Awantipora, a Mega Anti-Drug Rally was held in Khrew under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.” This event saw participation from police, staff, and students from local schools, aiming to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse on individuals and society.
