Jammu | : An orientation session on the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and Ni-kshay Mitra initiative was organised Friday at the Girls Hostel, University of Jammu.
The event was organized by the University Health Centre as part of the Seva Parv and Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan.
Around 150 Hostel inmates were sensitized on TB prevention and care. The State TB Officer, Dr. Jyoti Jolly along with Dr. Neha Pathania conducted the session and provided detailed guidance on the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
The STC team encouraged all students and NSS/My Yuva Bharat volunteers to register on the Ni-kshay portal and join as Ni-kshay Mitras to extend psycho-social support to TB patients in Jammu Division.
The program was graced by the presence of university faculty members, including the University Chief Medical Officer, wardens and hostel staff.
