Ramban| : As part of the ongoing fortnight-long Sewa Parv Campaign, the District Administration RambanThursday organized a series of Shramdaan events under the Swachhata Hi Sewa imitative. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan led the cleanliness drive at the District Administrative Complex (DAC) Maitra.
ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACR Shokat Hayat Mattoo, ACD Mohammad Ashfaq, Tehsildar Deep Kumar, ALC Amit Kumar and BDO Sunil Kumar, along with other officials, students and civil society members also took part in the sanitation drive.
Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan stressed the importance of collective responsibility for cleanliness at the grassroots level. He urged all government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, community leaders, youth groups and the public to actively participate in the initiative to ensure sustainable sanitation and hygiene in every village and ward.
Similar programmes were also organized by the Health, RDD, Education, Forest, Revenue and other departments in all blocks of the district.
