Srinagar | : Under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme (CAP), J&K Police on Monday organized an awareness programme on “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” at Townhall Budgam.
The programme was conducted by SHO Police Station Budgam, and attended by representatives of the Transport Federation, Auqaf Committee members, respectable citizens of the town, and police officers.
Speaking on the occasion, SHO PS Budgam stressed the urgent need to safeguard youth from the menace of drug abuse, underlining its devastating effects on individuals, families, and society. He urged youth to remain drug-free and spread awareness in their communities to help build a “Nasha Mukt Bharat.” Participants actively shared their views and explored practical solutions to tackle the challenge of drug abuse.
