Budgam | : A vibrant Kisan Mela (Farmers’ Fair) was successfully organized Saturday at Bahisht-e-Zehra Park in Budgam district, bringing together farmers, agricultural experts, and government officials to promote modern farming techniques, showcase innovative agricultural solutions, and strengthen the agricultural community in the region.

The event was presided over by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Khansahib, Saifudin Bhat, and MLA Chadoora, Ali Mohd Dar along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah.

MLA Bhat, MLA Dar, and ADC, interacted with farmers to understand their challenges related to crop yields, irrigation, and market access. They also inspected the stalls, which showcased a range of agricultural products and services, including high-yield seeds, organic fertilizers, modern farming equipment, and information on government schemes.
