Jammu | : The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, successfully organized the Inter-Collegiate Cross Country (Men) Championship 2025–26 at the University Campus today. The much-awaited event drew enthusiastic participation from athletes representing various affiliated colleges, creating an atmosphere of excitement and healthy competition.
The event was formally flagged off by Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, in the presence of faculty members and officials Their presence and encouragement greatly inspired the young participants to deliver their best performances.

The championship concluded with the distribution of medals to the winners, bringing the day to a spirited close and reinforcing the University of Jammu’s role as a key promoter of sports and physical education in the region.
The event was conducted by the technical officials: S. Gurcharan Singh, Nirmal Singh, Gagan Kumar, Vikas Karlopia, Ravish Vaid, S. Harinderpal Singh, Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Dr. Mahak, Rishiv Sharma and Richa Mandla, whose efficient management ensured the championship’s success.
