The Deputy Commissioner assessed block-wise progress on Persondays (PDs) generation under MGNREGA, which stands at 1,33,256. Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace, he asked officers to accelerate efforts and provide explanations for the delays. He also reviewed block-wise performance regarding asset geotagging, which has reached 87 percent, along with Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries.

He also assessed the status of PMAY-U houses and asked for their early completion.
Calling for a people-centric approach, the Deputy Commissioner stressed on renewed dedication, accountability, and time-bound delivery of services to meet public expectations. He said that bottlenecks must be addressed promptly to ensure smooth execution of rural development initiatives.
