Jammu | : The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education at the University of Jammu successfully hosted the Inter-Collegiate Cross Country (Women) Championship for the 2025–26 season at the University Campus.
The event attracted enthusiastic participation from athletes across various affiliated colleges, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of competition and sportsmanship. Prof. Nalini Pathania, Principal of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director of the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, officially flagged off the event. The presence of faculty members and officials, including Dr. Mandeep Singh and Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, provided significant encouragement to the participants, motivating them to perform at their best. In terms of results, Parul Sharma from the P.G. Department of Jammu University secured the Gold Medal, followed by Preeti Khajuria from GCW Udhampur who won the Silver Medal, and Radhika from GDC Basholi who took home the Bronze Medal.
