Ganderbal | : The “Swachhta Hi Seva 2025” initiative led by the Dean Students Welfare (DSW) and the National Service Scheme (NSS) at the Central University of Kashmir organized cleanliness drives at both the Tulmulla and Arts campuses.
Key participants included Dean of the School of Education, Prof. Syed Zahoor Geelani, DSW Dean Prof. Irfan Aalam, NSS Coordinator Dr. Shabir Ahmad, and faculty members alongside students from various departments. During the event, senior faculty emphasized that the goal of the cleanliness drive extended beyond a single day of cleaning; it aimed to instill a lasting habit of cleanliness among participants. They encouraged students to integrate these lessons into their daily lives. In response, students committed to reducing plastic use, conserving resources, and, highlighted a collective effort towards fostering a cleaner environment.
