Srinagar | : Police in Shopian on Thursday organized a seminar at Government Higher Secondary School Imamsahib, centered on the role and ideology of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The event aimed to foster patriotism, civic responsibility, and historical awareness among students. Participants engaged in passionate discussions about Patel’s significant contributions to India’s freedom struggle, his leadership in the unification of the nation post-independence, and his steadfast commitment to justice and national integrity. The discussions underscored the importance of values such as discipline, unity, and selfless service. During the seminar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) PC Imamsahib and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Imamsahib encouraged students to embrace Patel’s ideals and participate in nation-building activities. They highlighted the police’s commitment to promoting educational and patriotic initiatives. At the conclusion of the event, certificates and mementoes were awarded to all participants and winners.
